 Situated on the A34 between Kidsgrove and Congleton, the Travellers Rest boasts good, honest home-cooked food with a good selection of real ales


A large car park provides excellent access with our beer-garden and play equipment playing host to some truly breath-taking views of the Cheshire countryside

Scholar Green is a village in the civil parish of Odd Rode in the ceremonial county of Cheshire. The Macclesfield Canal runs through Scholar Green, and theTrent and Mersey Canal is nearby. Also close by, Rode Hall, Mow Cop Castle, Sandbach Saxon Crosses and Little Moreton Hall are major tourist attractions near the village. The 1st Saturday morning of  every month Rode Hall is host to a farmers market for local produce.

By road:   On the A34 Newcastle-under-Lyme to Congelton road, in Scholar Green, on the left when travelling north.
By canal: A quarter mile from the canal at bridge 91, walk to main road, turn right and it's a couple of hundred metres on the other side of the road.
